Because not
every label or artist on the grind has the money for
advertising or to create a demo, LatinRapper.com will
feature an up-and-coming Latino artist as well as a
Latino-run independent label every 2 weeks. This is a
free service, simply follow the instructions
below to apply.

**NEW** We have
a SPAM
FILTER
set up, when you email us, you will get an automatic
response which includes a link for you to click on and
confirm that you're a real applicant and not someone
spamming us. Once you click the link, the email that
you sent will go through to us. You only have to do it
once, from then on you're on our "safe list" and can keep
emailing us.
To become a
featured Latin artist:

Send an email to
artists@latinrapper.com
with your artist name, your location, a link to your
myspace page or website where we can hear your music.
Do not send artist news to that email. Please
try to give your email an obvious subject line, we get a ton
of spam emails and don't want to confuse applications for
spam.
You can email ONE mp3 if you don't have a website, but your
music will be reviewed faster if you simply send us a link
(to your website or MySpace page). While
it is NOT required, it can make it easier for us to review
your music if you add us to your myspace friends list, we're
at

Please be patient as we
only check these emails/review artists once a week.
Our email sends an auto response indicating that we received
your application, due to the tremendous number of daily
applications, you will only be contacted if you are selected
to be featured. Our goal is to try to feature artists
from different regions. Some artists may get featured
a month after submission, some a year later.

To become a
featured Latin run/owned independent record label:

1. If your label has a website,
please link to us, although its not required.
2. Send an email to
labels@latinrapper.com
with your label name, your location, a link
to your myspace page or website where we can hear your
artists music or get more info. Labels, please
don't send MP3s, if you want your artists featured, you
have to do a separate application through the email listed
above. Also try to make your subject line something
obvious (ex. "Featured Label", "Texas label wants to be
featured", etc) so we don't mistake your email for spam.
Please be patient as we only
check these emails/review artists once a week.

We also
encourage artists, labels and companies to send in their
CDs, DVDs or other products (clothing, etc) that they would
like reviewed for either the news, features or review pages.
We are also soliciting CDs for a #1 rated radio show that we
are pushing for syndication, so be sure to send
radio-friendly music as well as your regular tracks (We're a BDS-monitored Nielsen station, so your spins will count if
we play your music).

This is a free
service that our site is doing to help relatively unknown
artists and record labels on the rise get national
recognition. Few (if any sites) aren't really doing
this because its time consuming, we only ask that you are
patient with the review process and ask that applicants
avoid sending emails asking if or when they will be featured
on the site after they apply. |
