WHAT: Latin Grammy winner VICO C, THE PHILOSOPHER OF RAP,
considered by many as the originator of Latin hip hop, takes
part in the new MTV special filmed entirely in the island of
Puerto Rico titled MY BLOCK: PUERTO RICO.
WHO: VICO C has been recognized along his career as one of
the main representatives of Latin Hip Hop. The artist has
won several Latin Grammy Awards and has been nominated
numerous times for the most prestigious awards in the music
industry. His most recent album "DESAHOGO" (2005) was
critically acclaimed and his live CD and DVD "ENCUENTRO",
captured during his concert at the Coliseum Roberto Clemente
of San Juan on June 3, 2005, is fresh in stores.
